I worked with a team of people to develop a virtual interactive tour experience for WSU Vancouver’s Life Sciences Building, commissioned by the university for the purpose of recruitment and promotion.
I served as the leader of the Multimedia Design Team over six talented designers. Collaborating with a total of five other teams and the project manager to cultivate the website and its associated features.
I cultivated and designed the moodboard, style guide, official logo, and icons for the project.
I designed and illustrated two slide decks for the project. The first for the project pitch, the second for the project launch.
I led, motivated, and worked with a team of six talented designers, led weekly check-in meetings, and distributed tasks.
Together with my team, we created six draft logos, intentionally moving forward with cultivation of the ideas until we had three to pitch to the client, wherein mine was chosen. After the logo was finalised, I worked on designing our icons for the three main sections of the website, Spaces, Face, and Paces.
I learned much in my time as a team lead, more than simply managing a creative team for an agency. I also learned much about leading people, not just completing projects before the deadline. I have become much more proficient in encouraging others in their strengths as well as pushing them - and myself - to achieve new heights.
